Morningstar analyst rating - If a fund receives a Gold, Silver, or Bronze rating. It means Morningstar analysts think highly of the fund and expect it to outperform over a full market cycle of at least five years.

FE Crown rating - enables investors to distinguish between funds that are strongly outperforming their benchmark and those that are not. The top 10% of funds will be awarded five FE Crowns, the next 15% receiving four Crowns and each of the remaining three quartiles will be given three, two and one Crown(s) respectively.

Sector - there is a huge variety of funds on sale in the UK. The Investment Association sectors provide a way of dividing around 3,000 of these funds into broad groups. Investors and their advisers can then compare funds in one or more sectors before looking in detail at individual funds.

Ongoing charge
Ongoing charge – is levied by fund management companies and varies depending on the funds chosen. These ongoing charges are in addition to any product or adviser charges. If the ongoing charge figure (OCF) is not available, we show the total expense ratio (TER). Both include a fixed management fee plus expenses that vary with the day to day running of the fund. The OCF includes some one-off charges that aren’t in the TER, but the two measures are very similar.

Fund research

This fund research tool includes the entire Aegon fund universe - some of the funds shown will not be available to purchase by customers without a financial adviser. Investor Portfolio Service customers should select Filters and then choose 'Investor Portfolio Service' from the Category drop-down.
